Baked duck



  • 1 duck
  • Carrots 0.5 kg
  • 1 cup of walnuts
  • 2-3 garlic gloves
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation process

Boil duck in the pot of boiling water for 10 minutes. Then pull it out and cool. Grate carrots on large grater. Mix the kernels of walnuts and carrots with the grated garlic. Fill the duck with this forcemeat and sew it up. Rub duck with salt and pepper. Put it into the warmed up tandoor (about 20-30 minutes for preheated tandoor, and about 45 minutes for secondary layers).

When the bird is prepared, remove threads, pull out carrots with nuts and cover duck. Carrots mixed with nuts will get simply delicious, and duck is a tickle of the palate.
